Te Mana o Te Reo Māori
In 2017, Te Taura Whiri i te Reo Māori produced a historical narrative about the Wai 11 Waitangi Tribunal claim for te reo Māori. The narrative was authored by Aaron Smale and translated into te reo Māori by Piripi Walker. It also provided the foundation to work with Manatū Taonga – Ministry of Culture and Heritage.
In 2020, a digital multi-media resource has been developed with the support of Manatū Taonga on the history of the claim and the journey of te reo Māori.
This resource is an engaging and interactive tool to help and support the people of Aotearoa.
