Aotearoa-owned co-operative built on the strength of its farmers and communities.
As the major processor of milk from Māori-owned farms and the largest private sector employer of Māori in the country, Fonterra is committed to uplifting te reo Māori across the organisation.
Through its Māori strategy, Fonterra is embedding reo Māori and Te Ao Māori at every level, from culturally branded milk tankers, tailored learning modules, and bilingual signage across retail stores and manufacturing sites, to the development of cultural capability frameworks and directing efforts towards deeper relationships with iwi, hapū and rūnanga.
