Policy and Development

Te Amo is comprised of two workstreams:

Te Pūtahi Rangahau | Research and Evaluation

Commissions and undertakes research, evaluation and monitoring of te reo Māori normalisation and revitalisation initiatives

Supports the implementation of the Maihi Karauna through data analysis

Te Taituarā | Maihi Karauna Secretariat

Provides secretariat support to the following public-sector groups working to achieve the Maihi Karauna

  • Te Papa Kōrero | Chief Executives Forum
  • Te Tokomatua | Senior Officials Group
  • Te Rangakura | Shared Research Agenda

Leads and supports projects that further the work of the implementation of the Maihi Karauna.
