Catch the wave!
After a successful inaugural event in 2023, and with wide support from the public sector, private sector, and wider Aotearoa, Uhi Tai is returning for another year!
We are returning to the theme Catch the Wave, as the movement for te reo Māori normalisation continues to gain traction. No matter what level you’re at, we want to support you to realise your goals for the language.
Uhi Tai 2024 will include a range of highly esteemed speakers, such as:
- Ruakere Hond – language revitalisation expert
- Stacey and Scotty Morrison - media personalities and language educators
- Jennifer Ward-Lealand – acclaimed theatre and film professional
- Ann Hay – CEO, The Central Pulse
- Joanne McNaughton and Waipora Marshall-Lobb – BNZ
- Sophie Moloney and Kirstin Te Wao Edmonds – Rangiata | Sky NZ
- Rachel Pita and Correna Matika - Verian
Are you ready to attend? Click below to RSVP via the Uhi Tai registration portal!
